Who is Looking at Who? A Vue of Steller's
Jays
Lyne's Creations March 2002 All Rights Reserved

It was fun to be finally able to create an image of what I often see in our
local
mountains! The Steller's Jays are sweet, curious little beggars when we go for
a picnic lunch up to the little valley pond area. The place is a reserve for many
different birds and critters, and is filled with oak trees, as well as pine - a
favorite
haven for the Steller's Jays! I used Steve's California Oak tree, and my new
Steller's Jay from my new "Little bird" set.
Obviously I brushed out the feathers
a bit. Vue handled the trans-mapped crests automatically, but I wanted to
"feather the crests" even more in post. There is no post on the oak
tree, it's
branches and leaves really do look real, close up! :)
