In Photoshop, I took a photo of a rose, cut it out, made it a grayscale tiff, filling all the
space around the rose with black.I brought it into the Bryce Lattice Terrain editor.
The grayscale tiff made a 'height map' 3D image of the rose. I 'smoothed' the terrain several steps.
Back in the Bryce scene, I assigned the color rose image to the lattice, and this is the result.
I used 2D cut out images of the rose leaves.
