I can't take it anymore! Too many downloads, too much to install! I made up my mind to STOP the madness and get my 10+ gigs installed before I download more....but as I installed "Rainy Day", my muse screamed out this picture in my head to express my feelings! So here it is! D

Another out of my installing frenzy... I was testing the Lobo75 textures on the cargo pant outfit MDP casual 01, on SP3 with Blackhearted and Rio's Irena, including those great Blackhearted "black eyes" add on eye props for her... Background is one of the Blended Florals III by 4udreamcatcher, all at RMP! She wears FK Designs Deja Vue hair for V4 - adjusted to fit. (3D Commune). I dialed a bit of Irena and a bit of Tara, and then slanted her eyes more...and I added the use of the amazing Unimesh Realism Kit to enhance her skin further - the Unimesh realism kit also makes the lighting a LOT nicer over all! This python interface is by faceoff. (RMP also). Poser 6.3 with photoshop.

I like doing both a close up and a full body of these great characters and clothing so came up with this one. ) and now it's back to installing... at least it's getting me to play!! )

What is coming at them? A Baby darlek?

V4 with Dulce from DAZ (StephanieBT's great work!!) dialed a little to try and get her face to look more like Martha - the 10th doctor's new assistant. I used Hr-021-V4 braid hair by ali (RMP) with the braid and "bangs" not showing and post to brush up her hair-do from in back. She is wearing a shirt cloned and shaped into Martha's red jacket, as close as I could get it, anyway. (Kobamax shirt from the office outfit) red leather material from mapps, tweaked. I honestly forget which slacks these are, sorry!

I really appreciate the hours of fun I had today getting the doctor all set up for this scene! I spent hours changing the "blue pinstripe suite" (DAZ "3 piece suit" for David) turned into this brown. I used one of Bob's sci fi backgrounds because my favorite episodes of Doctor Who were when the Tardis "landed" on a space station! )

I am a NEW Doctor Who fan, having just met the two latest doctors via DVDs and now I can't wait for the new season to start on the sci fi channel!! And yes, I know this tardis is not the "right" one for this doctor but it's my favorite, so I am taking "artistic licence"!

I just became a DOCTOR WHO fan with the DVD sets after the high recommendation for the "modern" series from my son and daughter in law.... Doctor Who #9 is my favorite and soooo sad to see the actor leave after only one season (especially when seasons are so short in the UK!).... but I will remain a fan even if the new doc is a bit ... well... wimpy (in my own opinion). ;) I loved Rose and will miss her too. I loved how the Tardis could "land" anywhere, even on a space station!!

Sarsa and Thorn's Nadia, wearing the Jaguar hair (posted to add more strands with eye candy and for some reason the hr2 would not render with firefly so Nadia is a poser 4 render) and the Domino outfit from DAZ with Rena's fantastic texture - one of many in a set here at RMP. She carries a trident prop by John Malis.

The Outlander woman is the lovely Chinese Lily for V4 by reblemommy here at RMP, wearing the outlander dress/shoes from Poser Pros, with a texture set for it by kaleya here at RMP...in fact kaleya's textures are WHY I bought the Outlander outfit... I didn't realize the skirt of the "jacket" would not bend at the knee, so it is limited in it's use, but I do like it! Outlander woman wears the Kozoboro BOB - VERY EASY to fit...just Y trans up!! It follows her head like it was made for her. I did fuss with the trans map on the bob's bangs a little as well as post on other details, here and there... Outlander is a firefly render... Uzilite's "Sade" clothing set from DAZ is the whole reason for this portrait! I have drooled over the look of this artist's clothing for a long time, and when the sale hit...!

Noggin's butterflies just inspire me....to go down my own memory lane, back to a time when I was able to trek all over the San Diego Wild Animal Park....and in the springtime they would open this great huge "hot house" of butterflies that they had hatched out...I tried to pick the butterflies that I remember seeing in real life both in the hot house and near my own home...and I know I probably have the sizes a bit off in this composite of Poser renders, but here it is. I remember the largest iridescent blue butterfly was such a magnificent prize to see close and with it's wings open (the underside is very dull on this butterfly for camouflage I guess) and rarely could you get THIS close....buy hey, it's my dream! ;)

The Joy of Morning.... and the possibilities of the day!....

expressed with the Beautiful Sarsa "Miette", Mada's Tink Dress and her beautiful new wings with the same texture applied to the "Tink dress". (both freebies, Thank you, Mada!!) FK Designs Deja Vue hair from 3DC. Antenna from RDNA I belive...A3 ballet Pose, SORRY I forgot who did that pose set. Gorgeous Vue 6 Cloud background from Karen (the willow grove) in Renderosity FreeStuff. This just popped out as I was working on installing and wanted to see the wing textures go onto the dress! ) Post to composite and I also did just a tad more "saturation" on both background and Tink. Poser 6.3, photoshop.

The sweet little precocious Aiko Renapd Ally Cat character and clothing textures (THANKS BATLABS & YAMATO for the sweater and low ride jeans!!) so captivated my muse all else stopped so I could play with her...and this came out! :) I got the "Jam Hair" too because it just looked so right! Firebirdz pose modified. Mil cat with my free textures. Tree house from DAZ. I used P6 Firefly with Displacement mapping ON... I plugged in parts of the tree house, the cats (make eyes large and open more to make up for the 'puffy' displacement mapping) and even the sweater and jeans! I plug in the node and change the "8" for a 3 or even a 2 (cats) or a 0 (for the jeans, but 2 for the jeans bands and belt!) You can see how a setting of 2 makes the sweater FLUFFY and really more 3D!! I also did a bit of sharpen in post (I always gently sharpen eyes). I used a DAZ environment background. Ice Cream Bar is from "Food Eating Out" by Snowfire Graphics at our store - Vista Internet Products! Thank You Rena for a relaxing

Everyone needs a buddy on a long space voyage! V3 Lara with Koz Messy hair, suit from DAZ and Noggin's Cockatiel, in the Space Corridor from DAZ. Firebirdz V3 Pose, modified. I did two renders, one with the background and one without, so I could add a shadow as I wanted, and also do post (tiny distance blur on one side of corridor and tiny brushing around edges of bird's feathers.) Poser 6 SR2, Firefly with displacement on.

Using the background from the freebie CP "comet" package...and a head morph that was in a set of freebie classic trek morphs, on M3, with the Koz bob (really dialed a lot! ) .... this is my best effort. No uniform, but I remember he wore a robe when he was "finding himself" again... so used the DAZ robe for M3. THANK YOU, creator of the classic Trek morphs! When I find out who I will gladly add name credit! Poser 6.3, with post in photoshop.

She is a bit sad for love lost. I wanted to try for a little drama with the expressive face of Beth's Rayne for V3 at DAZ- I modified face dialing from one of the presets and added some expression from another Firebirdz Expression set). Skin is Cute Tawnee. Grace Lion Hair. V3 modified pose from The Fallen - dramatic poses for V3 Vali, Ferguson. I used my freebie Poser dog morph/map for the Airedale dog. DAZ jungle environment.

She is wearing the gorgeous new Sarong from RDNA by Deerpath and Linda White (White Deer), which poses so fantastically!

Post to perfect V3's joints, add shadows and fluff dog's fur...and "grow grass". P6 and photoshop.

Salvatore by Kati AKA FyreSpiryt for M3 and AprilYSH's Amante Hair (DAZ) inspired this effort. In fact I bought this great hair just to do this portrait! Aiko is Sydni by Sarsa & Thorne, with FK Designs hair and Tiara. Her dress is Gothic Love from RDNA by LadyLittlefox! Poses by Firebirdz modified by me. P6 Firefly with Smooth polys (seemed to be needed for Amante hair) and Displacement on. Post in Photoshop to add texture to poet shirt, and Salvatore himself, post on hair with Eye Candy Fur, blur palace background, and also smoothing work on A3's arms, joints. I have been doing this more lately to take away that "folded mesh" look at joints and the arm ridges that are a product of poser human meshes.

This "Cute Tawnee Pack" for V3 by aaa3d is super! I love this character texture and the included hair! So easy to apply to Aiko! (both the texture itself and the hair) I used part of the A3 Annabell outfit from DAZ, and used the stocking texture from it on the A3 DClassy Dress! Pose By Firebirdz, expression by me. Poser 6 with post in photoshop to assemble, shadow and frame. Of course this is my Freebie DAZ mil cat Travis texture. Just a fun little thing while in the midst of my installing purchases! )

My very first pin-up, inspired by the lovely Maleah for V3 by mariny! She is posing (V3 Pose by Firebirdz, slightly modified by me) with my Ocelot "Wildcat" morph/map for the DAZ mil cat. Satin Studio 2 by Richabri (Rosity FreeStuff) provides the setting. Maleah wears April's Spiral Curls, and Flora Lingerie by pretty3d! Poser 6 firefly render with displacement map on, the only post in photoshop was to fix some of the patterning or edges on the satin backdrop and add sig.

I hope my friends are not too shocked at this PG rated lady! ) I have bought such beautiful under-garments and then been too shy to use them! *pink cheeks* but Maleah seemed to want to wear them! ;)

Fredrik has created this Renaissance outfit for A3 (see the DAZ Freepository for the ongoing thread and information). I used the Kiri texture (DAZ) and RDNA's Neo Geisha Hair, and then applied the free RDNA P6 velvet materials to the parts of the dress. She stands in the Castle Tower (DAZ). I just had to create her (inspired by Star Wars 1) when I saw this wonderful dress! Poser 6, Firefly with Displacement mapping on and the Kiri lights.

I had this idea ever since I dipped back into fractal making...Xenodream is perfect to make more solid looking objects...and with the mil baby 3... ! I worked a while on this pose to fit the fractal "boat/basket"... hair is eye candy fur filter, cherub cloth tinted in post. For the baby I used the skin that came with it... The background is Linda White's... and Flaming Pear Flood for the foreground water to set the boat in... I felt like this turned out a bit like a painting? I didn't know what category to put it into, sorry. Poser 6 and photoshop.

Just a quick one with Noggin's new owl sets (DAZ) that are just OUTSTANDING!!! I made Harry with Ichiro 2, hair and shirt. Background is Halloween foggy backgrounds free for limited time at RDNA. Post for Harry's hair, lighting, creating wand, and for the tiniest motion brushing on owl feathers, adding a highlight to owl's eyes. P6 and photoshop.

I didn't get quite the effect of FlyByNight's portrait art, but was inspired by her art! I had a white background but it just did not work for some reason.... oh well, had so much fun the A3 and Mada/Sarsa/Thorn's HarlieKins!! With Le Cirque by Secretheart. RDNA for flora and Hummer...and as always, Firebirdz - my most fav !3 pose! ) Poser 6.

I fell in love with this gorgeous set!! The eyes are just stunning! The lighting here came with the set too! P6, with post only on the RDNA HAWK hair to brush out the ends, and fit it to A3 a bit better. The Bridge she is on is the one from DAZ. She is wearing an outfit from DAZ and I think a texture set from here. Forgive me, I lost track... it is the Kai outfit! Again the "illustration" look of this was inspired by FyByNight!

I used the original Mil Preteen, Lisha (DAZ -Sarsa/Thorn) texture, the free Vicki hair with Eye Candy Fur applied and two layers of Bob's space backgrounds to blend this all together. I dialed and posed her face shape and expression. She wears the Avalon dress/outfit from Poser Pros! Poser 6/Photoshop.

When Snowfire Graphics finished converting some of my Mil Horse textures to Diamond (RDNA) and I put the package together, I got to PLAY and this spontaneously came out! :) I love LadyLittlefox's sweet animals! Background by Linda White (one from the IC3 background sets at RDNA) helped with the project. Only a little post - mostly to assemble, and blur the background, and set the figure's feet "into" it. Poser 5 and photoshop. Thanks to Beth for the Diamond poses!!! (RDNA too!)

On my way to installing a LOT of things, I can't help but play with them....here is Steve's donkey (DAZ) with my modified gray map....and while posing him...he just seem to yell out "But I am the side kick"....when Puss 'n Boots (DAZ) came along in the fantastic Shrek movie... so with Chris's photo background (RDNA) I tossed this together... I am NOT forgetting my HUGE project of "Dintotopia inspired" scenes but for the next few posts I will probably be putting up little renders that come out of my installing...already have a movie star portrait to post next! :) P6 render, only post is shadows added and bit of distance blurring.

Scarlet for V3 by Sarsa & Thorn (Koz hair) strolls on the beach (Nature's Glory by Snowfire Graphics at Vista Internet Products) with her min pin (toy dog and add on's from Poser Pros). Scarlet wears the gorgeous new Sarong from RDNA by Deerpath and Linda White (White Deer). She carries the matching sandals that come with it! ) Actually that was the most challenging part of this- trying to get the sandals in her hands instead of on her feet! )) Poser 6 with photoshop post for shadowing. I gave up on trying to suggest footprints and just went for sandy toes! )

I can no longer add art to my slide show galleries, due to upgrading my OS
but well worth the visit! I have gone back to adding any new art to individual Galleries
as noted on my What's New page.
