TUTORIAL
FROM BRYCE BUMP TO PHOTOSHOP FUR
PART II
STEP ONE
Open your image in Photoshop

To enhance the 3D look of many Bryce images, especially with the 'special bump', I
increase the contrast. (1)
Next I do any 'clean up' and repair needed. (2) For example,
the raccoon's nose-mask area. I also used the
clone tool to rearrange the tail stripes, and added the cream color at the top of the
tail, (where the tail comes out
of the body). The poser map does not quite map correctly on a modified model. I also
enhance the eyes with a
glass filter in Eye Candy, to add some shine and highlight. HINT:
using the glass filter on the cat eyes, with a
little bit of 'refraction' will cause the slit pupil to become larger and round! - An easy
way to change poser's
default cat eye pupil!
STEP TWO - THE BRUSH !!

When you are satisfied with all the repairs, it is time to 'brush' out the
raccoon's fur! Select the Photoshop
'smudge' tool. Set the smudge tool pressure at 48 %. Now the most important part. Go and
get the extra
brushes in Photoshop 5's "Goodies" folder. (it is on your hard drive, from when
you installed photoshop)
When you have loaded the "extra brushes", you should be able to find the brush I
have circled, above.
Okay! We are ready to 'brush'!
