It all started with a voyage to a beautiful strange land
aboard a sailing ship. I discovered the most magnificent magical creatures, and
dangers too - from the creature I later learned was called a Draconian! As I
traveled up across the land I glimpsed a mermaid on a far shore, and then my
attention was drawn to the lovely lady standing in her ornate gazebo with the
incredibly delicate swan barge nearby. I was able to avoid the Draconian - who
was obviously not aware of the fearsome golden dragon sleeping in the flowers
just on the other side of the hill, because his vision was fixed upwards toward
the breathtakingly beautiful Pegasus, who I was sure would be able to easily
escape any threat. I continued down the other side of the flower covered
hillside. Looking across the lake I caught sight of another golden dragon on the
dark craggy mountains, as well as the beautiful home of someone who must be very
important. I was startled to see a stately unicorn standing on the lower hill,
and I was enjoying seeing the various kinds of beautiful raptors that seemed
common here. I felt as though I could stay in this land for ever.

The Deep
Back at the beginning of time, when a great
Monsoon created The Deep, life in the ocean was a dangerous place.
Giant octopi threatened the merfolk.... but thankfully
Hitoro was there, spear in hand, ready to defend his lovely
Momoko maid! I am sure the mother Dolphin was also ready to help defend against
both the shark & Octopi.
A Giant Sea Turtle swam away from the battle ground, but I saw the eel moving
in, perhaps in hope of a bit of leftovers that were sure to be there if Hitoro
has his way. Tiny seahorses, fragile sea-stars, starfish, and little
butterfly fish, among others, added color to the already iridescent reef.
I gave wide birth to the giant sting
ray flowing/flying by... All in all I treasure my brief visit back in time to
this beautiful land of The Deep!
NOTE: Vue renders will not
stand up to very close up zoom, so it is better to at least zoom half way out,
if
not all the way to view The Deep. Voyager Panoramas seem to be better for
extreme close up viewing.

Vue'ing An Alien World
"Pull up, will you?!" yelled my science
partner, as I swooped in for a closer look at the aquatic serpent mammals
below.... What a thrill to drop from the Mother ship to get up close and
personal with the wildlife of a planet we named Flora, for it's wealth of wild
life. It was a wonder how the plants seem to thrive around the shallow
water lakes we found here. The dirt did not look like it held much nutrients,
but until we could find a safe place to actually land and take samples, we could
only speculate at the type of minerals that sustained the wildly colored plant
life, and the thrilling draconian type life that we were witnessing. I wished I
could tame one of the small flying lizards, as they reminded me of a book I read
where such creatures were very special companions! I noted that the little
lizards really favored the red candy like balls on the Curlicue plants, and
would defy the danger of the great gliders that were prolific here! I was not
sure what the heron-like birds were fishing for, but I thought I caught a
glimpse of what might be crayfish like things scuttling around in the shallows.
------------------------------
Thanks to RDNA Sci Fi plants, Vue Infinite's sci fi plants, and Ness for the
great "Wyrm" he created! The little
flying lizards, Sea Serpents, and Sky car with pilots are from DAZ, and the
Goliath Heron is my own creation.
I doubt I will be doing any more panoramas with water in them, in Vue (except
UNDER water), as surface water
does not get along with me! I had to do a LOT of post on the water, and was so
unhappy with the results after a
5-6 hour render I cut off the bottom of the panorama! I was not prepared for the
water going all "patchy" like a quilt after that long render with my own water
mat I had "fixed"! I also did post to darken the edges where the dirt meets the
water, and I had to add the car in post as that just "broke vue's back" and kept
corrupting the file when I tried to import it. * Next up, a VOYAGER
background with wonderful mountains, cliffs, and clear water just begging for
all sorts of fantasy sea life, waterfalls...and who knows what else!
