Poser Six has a lot more complex preferences to set.
Click on Edit and General preferences to get this menu.
On the first tab you'll be able to set your launched a preferred state buttons
as usual, but note that you need to go to the second tab "Interface"
to finish the process of setting your preferred state's!
The most important tab here, especially for users who export
their poser content for use in other applications is the Misc. tab!
Un Check the boxes as shown! If you do not uncheck those boxes
then you're morph targets will be saved separately from your figures
or your pz3's and your other application will not be able to read them!
I personally uncheck the box for checking for updates for my poser
because I always update my programs manually.
