Indoor Vue

This image just "fell together"... & is dedicated to Laurie & Teresa! Laurie, thanks so much
for your potted plant, dried flower arrangement, throw rug, side table, & window
shades!!
Your maps are outstanding and all the colors just worked with my "floor"
that is a ground
plane with marble on it.. and my matching blue walls! :) I put a Vue render of
outdoors be-
hind Laurie's window shades.. and I think I "faked it" making a window
pretty well! I do
not know how to Boolean in Vue..and when I tried with a window and box it told me I
could
not do that... The Vue plant is potted in a cylinder primitive with copper metal Vue
material.
Vicky is dressed in Lannie's Vicky outfit and her hair is the San Francisco hair...
Teresa
modeled the fantastic "furniture
cage" my macaw is setting in... and you can find her cages
at our store now! :) This image started out as a test to see if I could be
"in a box" in Vue,
like I can do in Bryce... and to my delight, I most certainly can! This Vue 4.1
scene was easy
to light, using two "point lights" - one with it's shadows turned off, the
other with it's shadow
turned down. There is no post but for a "tad" of contrast to punch up
the 3D effect. I did a
Broadcast Render setting, which makes both the cage bars and Vicky's hair come out
well.
