Spring Bloom

This started out as an exercise to learn how to use Varian's "leaf exchanges"
for the Vue
vegetation... I wanted his blossoms a little pinker, then white.. so changed the colors in
photo-
shop... then Guitta showed me how I can "blend with color" the leaf set too!! So
I added a soft
pink color to my white Varian blossom for the Vue plum tree! I am so happy with the
results! I
dream of being young again and laying, gazing up at the pretty blossoms on a warm spring
day.
The grass was created with KPT 5's fiberOptix filter, and the little flower petals by
cloning off
the tree, onto the grass... A little sharpening, and contrast brought the tree blossoms
out even
more. I also used the 'burn' tool to darken some areas of the blossoms to add depth.
This was a
"Broadcast" render setting. I love how you can post render sharpen any render
out of Vue, and
it only looks better! It does not pixelate the edges of things.. Vue's render engine is
amazing!
UPDATE
I was fooling around with filters on this image while waiting for another render.. and
came up
with a different version that looks like a stream is running by... Click
